Truth be told, the trade show displays industry is the second largest industry to produce the most amount of waste, after the construction industry. That trash comes from flyers, samples, packaging, and much more. 600,000 tons of trash is generated every year. Shocking, isn't it? Check out the graphic below from Smash Hit Displays that illustrates some solutions for cleaning up the trade show industry and making them a green-friendly environment. Don't miss out on our Green Displays http://smashhitdisplays.com/displays/eco-systems-displays to see the variety of eco-conscious trade shoow display options.

Now if companies could take the steps like reducing product waste on-site, buying eco-friendly booths, embracing technology to share information, there could be a significant reduction in the amount of trash output by the trade show exhibit industry. Making a smaller footprint in the environment should be the goal of every trade show convention and trade show exhibits.
