With hundreds of trade show exhibits to compete against at the event, standing out from the competition can seem like a daunting task. If you have ever attended a trade show, there were probably some booths that got your attention more than others. Having a stunning booth is the first step in getting noticed, but there are a number of other factors that will help you increase display booth traffic.

1. Participate in Shows Related to Your Industry

Also, request a copy of the exhibitor and attendee lists in order to find out if your competitors and target demographic will be at the show. There will most likely be a hashtag for the event you are participating in, so take advantage of it by tweeting on the show floor with that hashtag. By doing this, you ll get the attention of other attendees and exhibitors who are at the show or are interested in the show. Give live updates to your target audience in regards to what is going on at the event. Also, pictures are a powerful tool and are usually the first things people will retweet or share. Post images of your booth or trade show display rental, your staff, attendees, giveaways, etc.

5. Include Extra Signage

Without hundreds or thousands of people at the event, it can be tricky getting people from all over the event to notice your booth through the hustle and bustle of the crowd. Hanging banners are perfect for getting extra attention from potential leads. Banner stands can also be used because many of them can get as big as 20 feet tall.
