Designate this special task to someone who is upbeat, friendly, and can keep a smile on their face.


The Go-To Person for the Tough Questions

Even if everyone on your staff is brand new to your company, make sure there is at least one person who is knowledgeable enough to answer any and all questions asked by visitors at your display system. One way to prepare your staff, and the one person you give this job to, is to hold a training seminar a day or two before the trade show. Teach them everything there is to know about your products/services, including the technical stuff.


Giveaways or Booth Attractions

Some exhibitors prefer to hold a presentation or demonstration, as well as hand out promotional items. Whoever holds this role should have an outgoing personality and have the gift of relaying a large amount of product/service information in a few minutes (if you are holding presentations or demos).


Following up

Once the trade show is over, designate one person to follow up with all of the leads generated from the event. A great way of collecting this information is to have everyone use lead forms to collect all of the data on.
