5 Tips to Keep Attendees Patient at Your Trade Show Displays

Every trade show exhibitor is hoping to get tons of traffic coming in to their display system. What they may not expect, however, are attendees having to wait in line for hours while you are busy scanning badges, talking to potential customers, and taking orders. Plan for the Crowd

Do your research to get an idea how many attendees and exhibitors will be at the event. Talk to trade show organizers and get a list of last year s attendance records to get a better idea of who will be at the convention. If you are trying to decide on the right number of staffers to cover your display system, take into consideration the size of the event and how many breaks your employees will need, since there should be enough staffers on the convention floor while one or two of them take a break.

Offer Drinks and Food

If you notice the line backing up at your trade show exhibit, designate one person to walk around and offer the attendees coffee or cookies while they patiently wait to set foot in your display booth. It can be exhausting spending hours on the event floor, so they will definitely appreciate the pick-me-up.

Keep Them Entertained With a Video or Presentation

As they wait, play a video or presentation that will inform them of what your company does. This can be done by attaching plasma monitors to your trade show displays that will display a slide show or short movie of your business.
