As you are preparing your trade show display for the upcoming event, there is one major question to ask yourself in order to design the right display booths for trade shows – who is your target audience? There are several benefits you may receive from knowing this little bit of information before setting foot on the convention floor, but here’s just a few of them.
Marketing Message
If your main focus for participating in the event is to attract business professionals to your tradeshow displays, you may want to present your product and company information in a different manner than you would if trying to intrigue a young adult demographic.
Display Booth Activities
Would your audience prefer informed presentations instead of games and drawings? Only you can decide what your audience would want to see.
Promotional Items
Everyone likes getting free gifts at trade shows, but it is important to give out items those potential new clients or customers would appreciate.
Display Booth Design
Your target audience may prefer trade show booths that have an open layout that would allow them to browse your products and booth comfortably. If this is the case, truss systems are known for having a spacious design with easy entrances and exits to keep trade show booth traffic moving. If you do not plan on bringing a lot of products to display or a booth space big enough to hold a large display booth, banner stands and pop up displays may be more your style.
As you decide on the design of your displays, consider the following:
- Budget
- Size of your booth space
- Size of the event
- How many products or visual aides you will be displaying
These are just a few ideas to consider as you design the perfect trade show exhibit. Keep in mind that not every attendee will react the same to your booth display, so think hard about what kinds of people you want swarming around your display system.
